Does Friendship Come With Some Warranty?
Can you tell if friendship comes with some warranty? I thought if I called you my friend, I would be loyal to you & you would be loyal to me. That was for granted.
Recently a very close friend of mine asked, “For how long can we remain friends?” No other friend of mine had ever asked me that question. I had never thought about it. I had taken it for granted that my friendship would last, just as sometimes I live as if I am to be in this world forever.
Sahaj Yoga has taught me to make the maximum of the present. To be in the Sushumna in the central channel. Not to dwell in the past. Not to be too much into the future. Enjoy the present. The present is the truth.
My answer to my friend was also based on this knowledge of my Sahaj Yoga. I said who has seen the future. We are friends now and let us be happy about that. Do not think too far. There is no use. You lose the present in doing so.
I know marriage comes with a certificate. In spite of that certificate marriages do break. That certificate only makes ones marriage legal but practically fails to give any lifetime warranty to ones marriage.
The beauty of friendship is in the faith that one friend has for the other and the unspoken promises.

I believe that some forces of the universe bring two people close -- into any relationship or friendship. One doesn't choose. .. sometimes it just clicks between two people. As long as the spark remains, the friendship would stay. But like other relationships it also need to be nourished. I liked the last line of your blog. Faith is very important to sustain a friedship.
Popular brands of electronic goods, etc market there products boasting of not just five or more years' warranty but extended warranty too, to lure customers.

They also offer promt customer care services. But fact is far away from reality. Once the customer selects and purchases their product (or service) their chase ends.

Isn't it?? On the other hand are some local stores and service providers who don't stamp and fill warranty cards but more customer friendly and trustworthy.

That was MU's silly utterance.
In short, like business or shopping, relationships too are based on what you called "faith". If there is FAITH, no warranty would be required. There shouldn't be the need to seek any?? If you seek warranty in friendships they are not worthy enough to be carried on. What say?? Thanks & Regards
